A welcoming shared sauna where travelers and locals can relax together. Designed as a social space, it’s the perfect place to recover after a day on the mountain while sharing stories with old friends and new faces.

Private Wood-Fired Sauna

Surrounded by nature, the Forest Sauna is a private retreat built around a traditional wood-fired stove. Watch the fire, enjoy the scent of the timber, and experience an authentic sauna session in complete privacy.

GENBE SIGNATURE AROMA

Our signature scent is a blend of Japanese Hinoki Cypress & Cedar, used throughout the year to create a warm and calming atmosphere.

Seasonal aromas will also be introduced throughout the year.

SELF LÖYLY

Guests are welcome to enjoy self-löyly using the provided ladle and aromatic water.

Please be considerate of other guests when adding water to the stones.

MUSIC

elaxing ambient music inspired by Japanese forests and Nordic landscapes plays softly inside the sauna.

Our café and outdoor lounge feature curated Genbe. playlists to complete the experience.

SAUNA ETIQUETTE

To ensure everyone has a comfortable experience, please:

  • Shower before entering the sauna.
  • Rinse before using the cold plunge.
  • Wear clean swimwear.
  • Sit on a sauna mat or towel.
  • Remove outdoor shoes before entering the changing rooms.
  • Respect other guests and keep conversations at a comfortable volume.

HOUSE RULES

  • No glass containers.
  • No smoking or vaping.
  • No alcohol before or during your sauna session.
  • Outside food and drinks are not permitted.
  • No diving into the cold plunge.
  • Please leave immediately if you feel unwell.
  • Guests who have been advised by a doctor not to use a sauna, or who are pregnant, should consult their physician before visiting.

AGE POLICY

Guests must be 13 years or older.

Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

TATTOOS

Tattoos are welcome at genbe.

We simply ask that all guests respect one another and help create a comfortable environment for everyone.

otel guests receive priority booking.

Day-use reservations open 30 days in advance.

Walk-ins are welcome if space is available.

Guests arriving more than 15 minutes late may not be admitted.
