GOING ONS.

Every season tells a different story.

What started as an old ryokan has become a place where artists paint walls, chefs cook in the parking lot, DJs bring records from around the world, and strangers leave as friends.

Here’s a look back at the people, projects, and moments that have shaped Genbe.

Host Something at genbe.

We’re always looking to collaborate with artists, musicians, chefs, designers, makers, and creative people who want to bring something to life.

Whether it’s a pop-up, workshop, exhibition, live music, food event, market, or an idea that’s entirely your own, we’d love to hear from you.
